Bone Orchard Mini Tour & National Folk Festival Announcement

Hey Folks –  The Bone Orchard mini tour kicks off at the end of the month with shows in Canberra, Sydney and the Central Coast – including opening for Busby Marou at the Unbridled Festival and visiting Smiths Alternative Bookshop with locals The Burley Griffen – and finishing up at the Petersham Bowling Club with Jamie Hutchings (Infinity Broke/Bluebottle Kiss) & Peter Fenton (CROW) playing a duo set and Peasant Moon opening the night. This special show will be presented by Post To Wire – and will probably be your last chance to catch the band live in 2014. Find all the details on the UPCOMING SHOWS page.

Big news in is that we have been hand picked in the first round of performer announcements at the National Folk Festival for April 2015 – and I’ll be taking the band with me.

Did you get a chance to look at the new video for Bone Orchard yet? Post to Wire had this to say: “…rattling, skeletal knees-up of ‘Bone Orchard’ with its banjo limbs and junkyard spine that swings from a blues stomp to a New Orleans street march”

Timber and Steel: “Bone Orchard is full of all sorts of folk/dixie/bluegrass/footstomping goodness and has a stark black and white clip to match”

Rhythms Magazine made it Video Of The Week and sited inspiration from Wes Anderson and Jim Jarmusch.

If you haven’t seen it as yet – check out the clip below. Produced by Central Coast local Paul Melnyk.
