After the Goldrush: A Celebration of Neil Young’s music in support of beyondblue: The National Depression InitiativeMark will be joining a bunch of other Sydney musicians to perform one very special, one-off show at Notes in Newtown on 25th August 2011. For one special night, witness some of Sydney’s fineset musicians pay tribute to Neil Young’s classic album ‘After the Goldrush’ and his Greatest Hits. Backed by the 6 piece house band -‘The Shakeys’, especially put together for this event. Proceeds from the show will be donated to beyondblue.This special event is the passion-project of Sydney singer-songwriter Bryan Estepa. Wanting to give something back to music, the idea of a charity show to support beyondblue was born. beyondblue: the national depression initiative is an independent, not-for-profit organisation working to address issues associated with depression, anxiety and related disorders in Australia.
